We all get periods when we feel tired;
When we could do with more energy to help us through the day and get everything done. We can feel like we are bogged down, wading through treacle; we can start putting things off because we do not have the energy to face them. Our to-do list starts stacking up and we deal with things on a fire-fighting basis rather than in the order we would like. We end up working longer hours trying to get everything done, resulting in less time for us to rest, and we end up running on empty.
We are caught in a catch 22 situation; we know taking some quality time out will give us breathing space and help to boost our energy but with so much to do can we really justify taking the time?
When we feel like this it is beneficial to take small periods of time out on a regular basis to help us recharge our batteries and build up our inner reserves. There are many ways we can do this – taking a walk in nature, listening to some music, having a bath and experiencing the wonderful feeling of rejuvenation that Reiki brings…
Receiving Reiki is a peaceful and soothing experience – our body and mind enter a deeply relaxed state where they can unwind, release stress and tension and find a renewed state of balance. For a short while we can let go of all the things we need to do and rest, completely in the moment with no demands on us, regrouping and recharging. After Reiki our clients often tell us they feel refreshed and revitalised and like a heavy weight has been removed, lifting their spirits.
